I say I won't wear a watch anymore
so time will stop playing
its silly tick-tock toe-tag tune
to me. You see, life's really
a giant joke, a harlequin hoot
a laugh a minute
until you're in it. And
aroused by its slap-stick alarm
tears ring your dreamless eyes.
