THE ARTIST SEES

You can cheat, with
your eyes. The painter watches
acquisitively.
The landscape has
no plan, winding roads
random its wilderness.
Nature is never disturbed
by obsessions. A lady moves around
her clothesline, tending her clean
white sheep. And in another mountain
valley, the artist is there
to capture another
important event. Timing
is
everything.
